Scrap Metal Dealer

A scrap metal dealer is the licensed commercial operator who buys scrap from the public and sells it on — usually to recyclers/processors or directly to foundries. Scrap Metal Recycler

A recycler focuses on the processing step — shredding, smelting, remelting scrap back into usable raw material (ingots, billets, wire rod). Some recyclers also buy from the public; most buy from dealers in bulk. Molten Steel is licensed to recycle scrap metal in Singapore, but our primary public-facing role is dealer.

Scrap Metal Buyer
